Holiday lights

Day 3 and what an awesome technique Tim chose to feature on this tag.  Not only the technique but a way to create two at a time...yahoo!  I wasn't as successful with this part - maybe next time.  I did pretty much follow Tim's steps but used colors from the Adirondack line and added a focal point using his Holiday Lamp Post die.

Tim stuff:  Season's Silhouettes stamp and coordinating embossing folder; Festive Greenery, Holiday Lamp post dies; Kraft Core #10, 11, 24; grungeboard

Ranger stuff:  Adirondack Wild Plum, Denim, Red Pepper, Lettuce, Butterscotch re-inkers; Gathered Twigs, Antique Linen distress inks; Black Soot distress stain; Black Soot crackle paint; Gold paint dabber

Misc. stuff:  Martha Stewart bird punch, rhinestones, light yellow rayon seam binding, twine (curled as Tim described)

  1. Susan this is a great tag, mine was complete rubbish!! (didn't help I was missing most of the vital ingredients!) Can't wait to try today's but got some stuff to do first.

  3. I am really liking the lamp post with the birds, not to mention your colors are gorgeous. The seam binding really looks great. WHY did I throw away all that kind of thing when I cleared out my sewing supplies!
