Day 10

The technique Tim showed using facets, clear packing tape and adhesive-backed foil was really, really cool!  It really does look like mercury glass...awesome!  I went outside the theme and dropped back to Halloween.  It's not that I love the holiday particularly, but I am very, very fond of the color palette for fall.  See what I mean?

Tim supplies:  kraft tag (nope, Frayed Burlap d. stain on a manilla tag), Seasonal Stash paper, fragment charms (not facets), Haunted Mansion stamp set, Halloween tissue tape (not the Tattered Banner die), mini pumpkin, grungeboard, grungeboard letters; long fasteners

Ranger supplies:  Jet Black Archival Ink; Wild Honey, Walnut Stain, Black Soot Distress Inks; Frayed Burlap Distress Stain; Glossy Accents; Perfect Pearls Mist - Heirloom Gold; Spiced Marmalade Distress Crackle Paint; oranges & yellows paint dabbers

Misc. supplies:  Martha Stewart leaf punch; HVAC tape; twine; fibers

Did you see the witch fragment is positioned over the word 'witch' in the witch hazel stamp?  Just happened, not planned!

So, if it's Day 10 why can't it be about Halloween which falls in the tenth month of the year??!?!?!?

P.S.  I'll catch up on my Wendy Vecchi version of the tags in a later post.
