Tim's 12 Tags of 2014 - March

I was planning to work on Tim's March tag for 2014 last week when it was snowing and blowing but didn't get it done.  Between shoveling and making soup I was too busy.

It's still too cold and still too much snow on the ground to think of birds, nests, spring....lol.  But we'll be  planning a road trip soon so I thought it would only be fitting to use the auto set from Stampers Anonymous.  Love the idea of smudging and 2nd generation prints...and what a great way to make use of residual ink on your stamp!
Here's what I used:  Stampers Anonymous 'Road Trip CMS128', Harlequin Layering Stencil; distress inks (Broken China, Vintage Photo, Antique Linen, Weathered Wood, Black Soot, Pumice Stone, Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn), Pumice Stone distress marker, Mowed Lawn distress paint; tissue tape; twine; ribbon; word bands

I can't decide which version I like best...which is your favorite?

  1. Hard decision ... I really like them both .... but I think I like the faded one a teeny weeny bit more.
Such talent! I planned to start the year off following Tim's blog and making tags .... it just didn't work out :-(

  3. Tough choice...I think they both turned out GREAT but, I think I like the one on the right just a wee bit more. I love your color choice on the tags! Those stamps are awesome :)

  4. I think the technique works really well with these stamps. wonderful retro theme, with suitable retro colours. I like both tags but maybe like the faded one best. but only because it looks older. and i love old looking stuff ;)

  5. Came over here from Tim Holtz' March tag post. Really like your tag...and the colors! I like the brighter version best even though I am a vintage girl all the way. I love seeing the originality everyone uses in creating their tags from the inspiration provided by Tim.
