Holiday thank you cards

Don't know why this looks so pink; it was stamped (Stampers Anonymous - Inventor CMS359) on white cardstock using Tree Branch archival ink.

The brown strip is watercolor paper that I just kept messing with until it became this color.  The letters (Sizzix 660211) were cut from more watercolor cardstock that had been colored with festive berries, evergreen bough and tea dye distress inks.

Thank you

My sister and her family hosted Easter lunch, gave out lovely Martha Washington geraniums and her art teacher daughters taught us how to dye eggs the Ukranian way using bees wax to create designs before dipping the eggs in various dyes.  Needless to say, a paper 'thank you' is necessary!

Ingredients:  Bazzill card stocks; Ranger distress and archival inks; Stampers Anonymous CMS156 'thank you'; Stamp Camp 'Make A Tree Set' #SS014 & 'Hanging Stuff'' #SS204; Martha Stewart rabbit punch

This card also works for 'Throwback Thursday' because the Stamp Camp stamps are quite a few years old...but so much fun to use.

Tim's 12 Tags of 2014 - March

I was planning to work on Tim's March tag for 2014 last week when it was snowing and blowing but didn't get it done.  Between shoveling and making soup I was too busy.

It's still too cold and still too much snow on the ground to think of birds, nests, spring....lol.  But we'll be  planning a road trip soon so I thought it would only be fitting to use the auto set from Stampers Anonymous.  Love the idea of smudging and 2nd generation prints...and what a great way to make use of residual ink on your stamp!
Here's what I used:  Stampers Anonymous 'Road Trip CMS128', Harlequin Layering Stencil; distress inks (Broken China, Vintage Photo, Antique Linen, Weathered Wood, Black Soot, Pumice Stone, Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn), Pumice Stone distress marker, Mowed Lawn distress paint; tissue tape; twine; ribbon; word bands

I can't decide which version I like best...which is your favorite?

Time

Tim Holtz has posted his February tag for the 12 Tags of 2013.  I don't like to follow too closely in his footsteps but prefer to use the techniques he's shared or perhaps some of the embellishments or color palette.  This month I chose only to use the same techniques and basic layout.

Stampers Anonymous stamp sets:  Mini Blueprints 4, Pen & Pencil; Ranger:  distress stains, distress inks, archival inks, distress markers; tissue tape, pocket watch embossing folder (TH-Sizzix); #8 tag, watercolor paper; Technique Tuesday stamps: Borderline: Live For Today; kraft core core'dinations; string; clock face

I wonder what he has in store for March?
