I love watercoloring with distress inks so the newest challenge from the CCC3 was right up my alley! The technique is discussed on page 39 of Tim's third book. Inspiration Emporium is sponsoring the challenge and has a $50 gift certificate ready and waiting for a randomly chosen winner. And don't forget that the Curiosity Crew will also be choosing a winner. With all the inspiration that can be seen on the blog we're ALL winners!

Yes they do! I am IN LOVE with this tag Susan! Love the image the watercoloring on it and the shell, and the anchor is perfect! Thanks so much for joining us on this painty challenge here at CC3Challenge!!
ReplyDeleteSusan....This tag is adorable! i so love your vintage image of the bathing beauties. My, my....swimsuits have come a LONG way, haven't they? :) Your stamped and colored shells are awesome!I love that you stamped them in the same colors you water colored them with! That really is a nice effect instead of stamping in black. I also really like your background splattered tag...very "watery" feeling. Your little anchor and chain are also way cute! Thanks for joining us and sharing your art at CC3C. <3 Candy
ReplyDeleteThis tag is delightful Susan- and how appropriate is the watercolor for this scene! I like the distressed edges on the vintage photo & the watery feel of the ribbon choice. That anchor and chain diecut and the paper choice for the sand are great added elements... well done toots!
