Don't it make your brown eyes blue?

After seeing the various stamps and color combos used for the 22nd week of the CCC, I opted to use the vision images from Tim's Oddities set.  I chose several brown alcohol inks and one blue one, with copper as an accent.

If you look close, arcing under the F-T-L, it almost looks like eyelashes and an eye.  Not planned!  The eye stamp wears a Glossy Accents contact lens.  The brown layer beneath the eye was cut with a Spellbinders inverted scallop circle die.

Ta da!

The Alcohol Ink Splatter technique makes me think of Rorschach tests.

  7. Susan, that stamp is a FABULOUS choice for this technique! The alcohol ink turned out beautifully, and the soft brown and blue tones are lovely. You're right-- I do see an eye there in the the ink, and the way you tied it in with the eye stamp is brilliant!

    Bravo!
