The background was created using a technique from Tim's Compendium book. Cool, huh? I used grungepaper but then adhered it to grungeboard for sturdiness. The baby wipes flower was cut using the Tattered Florals die. I smooshed Distress inks onto my craft sheet, spritzed with water then let the flower layers fall where they may, pushing them down to absorb the color. Some I spritzed with more water to get better color. Other than the fern punch (Martha) and the gear/sun (Sizzix) everything else is by Tim.

ReplyDeleteReally nice piece. The flowers out of baby wipes, who would have thunk. I have the die so now I'll have to go and get some wipes. Great job and thanks for giving this newbie an idea.
