This sweet princess is a 12-year old chocolate lab belonging to my neighbor. I just love looking after her when her non-furry parents aren't around.

Ruff!
Happy birthday, Charlie! Here's hoping you're not in the doghouse on your special day!
He's usually is for one reason or another. He's a boisterous chocolate lab that has no self control and is always on the go.
The stamp is part of Brett Wedele's stamp set 'Barks Marvin: The Crime Solving Dog'. The image was stamped in Jet Black archival ink onto mixed media cardstock. Distress markers and the waterbrush were used to color the image. 'Ruff' was inked up with a brown distress ink then misted before being stamped onto the card front. The mat is brown Bazzill cardstock; the base is white cardstock.

Mmmmmrowww
In case you don't speak cat, it says 'Happy Birthday"!
Here are two cards I made using Brett Wedele's 'Mister Meow Meow' and distress crayons.
I painted a thin layer of gesso over watercolor cardstock then stamped the image in Jet Black Archival Ink. I scribbled the crayons where I wanted to add color and rubbed/smudged the color with my finger tips. Once I was happy with the look I used mini stencils 002 and 003 and some red distress ink (whatever was left on my sponge) and a dampened finger for the other to remove some color.
Hope my friends speak feline! Maybe that's a birthday wish that will be granted!
