Home

it's where I want to be in August.  School begins the middle of the month in my community.  While we don't have children and as such aren't affected, our lives are altered by the bus routes and parents taking and picking up their children in our neighborhood.

Thank you!

Our newspaper has a weekly column written by a local Amish woman.  It's such fun to read about her day's activities, family and friends. When I was growing up we had a young Amish lady stay with us during the week (for maybe a year or so) while our parents worked.  Reading her column reminds me of those days and brings back so many special memories.  I feel like the writer is a friend even though we've never met.  This week I thought it about time I wrote and told her what her column means to me.
